If Tottenham get relegated to the English Championship then injuries will be a significant factor and it’s been used as an excuse for poor results by Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor.

As the graphic above illustrates, Newcastle United sit second with players missing 278 games combined through injury. Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Liverpool complete the top five and unsurprisingly the top seven clubs all played in European football competition this season - Arsenal sit narrowly above title rivals Manchester City. Manchester United rank 15th with Leeds United boasting the best injury record this campaign.
